Beverly Roberts
Serves as clinic administrator for Family Vision Clinic, overseeing operations in all three practice locations.
Beverly has been a member of the Family Vision Clinic team since September 2005 and currently serves as the Clinic Administrator. Since joining the Family Vision Clinic team, she has earned the degree of Certified Paraoptometric Technician (CPOT), and American Board of Opticianry Certification (ABOC).
Beverly is the Past President of the Mississippi Paraoptometric Association and currently serves on the education and conference planning committees, past president of the AOA Paraoptometric association, and is currently serving as the Chair of the Commission on Paraoptometric Certification. She has served on many committees through her years as a MOA and AOA volunteer. She currently serves on the AOA Host committee, Item writing and test review committees.
Beverly is a national speaker traveling to different states to teach and train staff. In 2007, Beverly was awarded the Mississippi Optometric Association’s Para of the Year award. In 2008, she was honored on a national level as the American Optometric Association’s Paraoptometric of the Year, an award chosen from candidates in all 50 states. In 2013 the Mississippi Paraoptometric award was named in her honor as the “Beverly Roberts Paraoptometric of the Year Award”. 2014 she was chosen as the SECO Paraoptometric of the South in Atlanta, GA. 2023 she was the recipient of the AOA Lifetime Achievement Award, this award is given in honor of a paraoptometric who has continuously gives above and beyond in the profession.
She is an active member of our community and attends Siloam Baptist Church with her family where she sings in the choir and works with the youth group.
